PortM8 is the current replacement for the popular TidaLite portable tide gauge used extensively by Ports and Harbours. Using the latest low power processor and flash memory technology, the new design offers precise reliable operation with minimum power supply requirements. The PortM8 is designed to interface directly to Port VTS computer systems using serial, USB or Bluetooth communications. The serial data can also connect into long and short range radio telemetry modems systems for use in data collection from remote or offshore equipment.
